Anyyyyyway back to the music

Freddie Gibbs & Madlib (aka MadGibbs) – Robes ft. Earl Sweatshirt, Domo Genesis
Yooooo Freddie Gibbs doing his thing. The quality on this is eh plus it’s censored so it’s kinda a so-so track right now. I feel like after the CDQ (cd quality) comes out, the track will sound better. Either way that hippity hoppity jazzity thing that Madlib does is spot on. Definitely a track to check out if you’re into Gibbs’ smooth-ass flow, or Madlib’s production style.

Yelawolf- Box Chevy V
So the thing is, is that I’m actually a pretty big Yela fan. Trunk Muzik Returns  was one of my favorite mixtapes of 2013. Actually maybe not. But it was a great mixtape either way. This is apparently off of his new project which is supposed to drop soon. If you like Yela I feel like you’ll like this song. I do. The production has a very specific Yelawolf sound with the bass, and the melody is very rock inspired. Yela himself has a staccato flow that’s pretty ridiculous at times. Check it out!

Cam’ron & A-Trak- Humphrey
To be honest I’ve never listened to Cam’ron before this… so I can’t really compare this to anything else that he’s done or anything. It’s a nice track though. I was kind of worried at first just because A-Trak is an electro house DJ/Producer so sometimes his production is very electric, but because this song works really well. It grooves fosho. Cam’ron sounds like Method Man to me.

I kinda got lazy so I don’t really want to split this up into multiple categories…I mean they’re preeeetty much the same thing.

Isaiah Rashad- Cilvia
This guy is one of the new additions to TDE which now includes Jay Rock, Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q, Ab-Soul, SZA, and Isaiah Rashad. Quick time out. Is TDE a reverse Wu-Tang? Dominate the game with solo albums then release a bombass group album :O. Anyway I didn’t listen to most of this album, but it was pretty cool beans. All I really know for certain about Isaiah Rashad is:
1. He is a good rapper.
2. He moves his hands when he raps. A lot. Example: I Shot You Down.

Ace Hood – Starvation 3
idn’t listen, probably won’t. Might be good.
